The Pastor and congregation had formed a building committee, all who agreed the new Sanctuary would set the tone for other improvements. And, as the preliminary design unfolded, there was an effort to include everything they saw as necessary. With a complete education area, nursury and day care and administrative offices. With a Narthex as big as some small churches, the rising cost of construction made a smaller and more practical building the best course of action. This came as a let down to most everyone, but a more disciplened and careful approach for a congregation that will surely grow and prosper as a result.
